الشركات مطالبة بكشف جهود مكافحة الفساد
قالت منظمة الشفافية الدولية إن كبريات الشركات في العالم تقوم حاليا بالإفصاح عن برامجها لمكافحة الفساد لكنها تحتاج إلى القيام بمجهود أكبر في هذا الاتجاه.
وأضافت في بيان صدر في برلين أن الشركات ذات الجنسيات المتعددة تستطيع بل يتوجب عليها لعب دور مهم في الجهود الدولية لمكافحة الفساد.

هنا]*في 2008 يجب على مسؤولي الشركات الالتزام بمكافحة الفساد.
وأشارت المنظمة إلى أن غياب الشفافية يجعل من الصعب تحديد أرباح الشركات وكيفية التزامها بدفع الضرائب أو مساهمتها في الحملات السياسية.
وقالت إن نحو نصف عدد الشركات لا يكشف عن مساهماته في الحملات السياسية. ولفتت إلى أن الشركات المتعددة الجنسيات تظل جزءا مهما من المشكلة في العالم وإن الوقت قد حان لمساهمتها في إيجاد حلول.
وطالبت الشركات بالمساهمة في مكافحة الفساد عن طريق كشف المزيد من المعلومات عن كيفية مكافحتها للفساد وأنشتطها في هذا الاتجاه وكيفية تدفق الأموال في الدول التي تعمل فيها.
وتساعد مثل هذه المعلومات المواطنين في العالم على معرفة حجم الموازنات العامة وهو أمر ضروري في محاسبة الحكومات.
وقالت إنه يتوجب على الحكومات والجهات الرقابية جعل الشفافية أمرا ملزما لجميع الشركات التي تطلب دعما حكوميا لعمليات التصدير أو المنافسة للحصول على عقود حكومية.
